About Us

We are the author of our story and we have not finished writing.

Who we are ..

We are a group of enthusiastic science students, teachers and programmers, passionate about incorporating technology in modern education system.

Primary focus of the organisation is to create simulation softwares for high school science and maths, which allow students and teachers to visualise topics without the need of laboratory or physical devices.

Our philosophy…

We believe that technology is more a boon than a curse. We see a strong impact of technology on communication, transport, security etc, then why should’t it have a positive impact on education as well.

We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher’s hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world.

– David Warlick

Being a group of teachers and students we are strong supporters of classroom teaching, since teacher has to do a lot more than just teaching the subject, to shape future of his/her students. So we believe in assistance of teacher rather than replacement.

Technology will never replace great teachers, but technology in the hands of great teachers will bring revolution.

– George Couros

Our idea…

Simphy is the brainchild of Mr. Mahesh Kurmi a Maths and Physics professor and an enthusiastic developer. During his initial years of teaching, he used to perform experiments and show specific animation available on the internet in his lectures to enhance the curiosity and visualization power of students.

But it was impossible to perform experiments or present an animation for every concept, so he started developing Simphy, a virtual world on the computer screen where almost every physics situation can be simulated as it would have happened in the real world.

In 2015 some of his ex-students (who were also programmers) joined him to solve the same problem being faced by millions of students and teachers. As of 2018, after three years of their continuous development, a more user-friendly, responsive, and intuitive version of SimPHY was created. By 2020 as we used it in classrooms and got immensely great response we decided it should be available for other students as well .

WE BELIEVE EVERY TEACHER DESERVES BETTER TOOLS TO TEACH THEIR STUDENTS.

CREATE SIMULATIONS

With SimPHY, teachers can create their own simulations with our easy to use drag-drop tools to make physics lectures more intuitive and engaging.

SIMULATION LIBRARY

Ready to run interactive physics simulations, from our IIT JEE curriculum based exhaustive library, for live teaching with SimPHY. Just plug and play.

LESSON PLANS

Proper Lesson Plans with questions and tasks in each simulations for easy on-boarding of teachers and students.
